Apple 20W Charger Review — Is It Worth Buying in Pakistan?
We tested the Apple 20W USB-C Power Adapter (both 2-Pin and 3-Pin versions sold in Pakistan) on an iPhone 15 and iPhone 17 to see whether it lives up to Apple's fast-charging claims.

Charging Speed
Apple advertises up to 50% charge in around 30 minutes on supported iPhones. In our test, the 20W adapter paired with a USB-C to Lightning cable hit roughly that mark consistently on iPhone 12 through 17 series devices, confirming it's a genuine PD (Power Delivery) fast charger and not a slow 5W-equivalent knockoff.
Build Quality
The compact folding-plug design feels identical to genuine Apple retail units — solid plug pins, no wobble, and a matte-white finish that resists yellowing better than cheaper alternatives. Both the 2-Pin and 3-Pin variants sold locally use the same internal charging chip.

Compatibility
- iPhone 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 series (all support USB-C PD fast charging with this adapter)
- AirPods Pro (USB-C case)
- iPad and iPad mini (slower full-speed charge compared to higher-wattage chargers)
Pros and Cons
Pros: Genuine Apple fast-charging speed, compact size, works with both Lightning and USB-C cables, widely available with COD in Pakistan.
Cons: No cable included on the base unit (bundles with free cable are recommended), and it's not the fastest option if you also charge a MacBook — see our 20W vs 30W comparison.
Verdict
For iPhone-only users in Pakistan, the Apple 20W charger remains the best balance of price, speed, and portability. Buyers wanting to also fast-charge an iPad or MacBook should step up to a higher-wattage adapter.
